Long Awaited Professional Athlete Chamber of Commerce Debuts
May 1st, 2014
PHOENIX, AZ- The Professional Athlete Chamber of Commerce (PACC), a business networking platform that connects professional athletes with the business world, has just launched its website (paccchamber.com) in advance of a much anticipated launch party and initial membership drive on Thursday May 22nd at XX in Phoenix.
One of the co-founders of PACC, John Bronson, is a former NFL player who has started several successful businesses for himself over the past decade in the business world.
Bronson, and his team, created PACC to make it much more efficient for current and professional athletes to network with members of the business communities for investment, promotional and employment opportunities.
“I get hundreds of contacts through social media on a monthly basis trying to sell me something or wanting my time in some way. It literally has become overwhelming and exhaustive as I don’t know where to begin,” Bronson explained.
“We decided to create a platform to simplify this process and make these contacts more efficient and effective for all parties involved.”
While there are other career transitional counselors and services that help prepare professional athletes for life after sports, the Professional Athlete Chamber of Commerce has taken a 50,000 foot view to this often time painful process.
PACC is a one-stop shop athlete mall for those in the business community looking to leverage athlete-branding into their business plan. With different membership levels, those wishing to present their ideas can do so through the basic Stadium Ticket, the social network contact center, all the way through the Lockerroom Access Pass that offers one-on-one face time between the business professional and the prospective athlete.
“What PACC offers is not just the connection, but we do it in a very vetted environment which is key for our athletes, “Bronson continued.
“So many previous athlete non-athlete business dealings turn sour because there is no vetting process and the athletes themselves have never trained for that. PACC handles all of that for them.”
PACC’s marketing and sales team has nearly 100r 75 years of combined experience, ensuring both the athletes and business professionals will be networking in the most up-to-date and creative environment possible.
With a projected year-one network-wide net value in excess of 50 million dollars, PACC will become a major player in the business networking space in a very short time frame.
In addition to the social network, PACC also plans to offer a wide array of business training for its athletes and also a media network that will allow the athletes to enhance their business profiles through video.
“I’ve been there before, not knowing where to even begin,” Bronson added. “PACC is going to create safe shortcuts that I, and other athletes, didn’t have when we got started on the rest of our life.”
The PACC launch party will feature about two dozen athletes along with those wishing to get an early membership into the PACC network.
